Easyride Transportation

For residents requiring transportation within town we encourage accessing the Easyride transportation service*. Staff can assist residents to set this up and assist in booking/arranging transportation to appointments.

Our nursing team works closely with physicians and the rest of the multidisciplinary care team specific to each residents individualized care needs. Our care planning includes (but not limited to) the following:

• On-going monitoring/documentation of resident well being and safety
• 24 hour emergency response system
• Direct communication with physicians and care providers
• Appointment management
• Medication administration
• Nail care
• Limited assistance with activities of daily living 

• VON group exercise program offered four times per week
• Wound care
• Palliative care
• Diabetes management
• Therapeutic diets as needed or directed by physician
• Access to external care providers

Breakfast

Served at 8:00am with a variety of hot/cold cereal, tea/coffee, fruit, toast/eggs/bacon.

Lunch

Prepared for noon where we offer the larger meal. We offer two choices of meat as well as potatoes or rice, vegetable, juice, and dessert.

Dinner

Served at 5:00pm and it is typically comprised of lighter choices ie: soup and sandwich, salads, casserole, quiche.
